Not associated with this company in anyway, but thought there was a few bargains on here if people are interested.

Interested in the scandi bucket or the 5ft 3cx bucket for the 80 myself

Bloody good stuff imo, most of our buckets are from them. Nice shape buckets, stuff doesn’t stick in them too much (within reason depending on the clay), and they aren’t too heavy.

Although I see they have started to make buckets in “euro” style, more of a curve on rear and a longer flatter bottom.

They make the best sheugh bucket imho, just the right shape for forming a nice neat sheugh.

Quite simple with buckets you get what you pay for within reason.

I’ve got Scott buckets for my 6 tonner, they are very well made. I did have one of their Scandi grading buckets but it was massive (would have been big on an 8 tonner really) - better made than the Engcon bucket that I replaced it with but just didn’t ‘fit’.
They make a lot of Hardlife’s buckets and attachments.

Engcon and the other scandi makers tend to have a bit of crossover between bucket sizes and fitment. There might be 3 different grading buckets on s45 the same width but could be of of 3 different ranges so in effect 3 different weights for 3 different size machines. Its easy to end up with too big/heavy a bucket if you're not careful. I think engcon, steelwrist and possibly rototilt now outsource some bucket manufacture to Poland, whether quality is as good or not if this is the case i don't know?

Don't worry I have too, but think the new digbits ones are made of hardox now. Clearly it was becoming a problem!

Bent a few of ours and same don't know how.

I've got a old flat bottomed 18" jcb bucket with spring bushes. I thought all the old 3cs had spring bushes in their buckets

I think 3cx buckets had spring bushes in them until late 90s.
