How does your 8010 compare to the E10?
Both very good machines. If doing a shift on the 8010 and then the day after on the e10 you feel the e10 been a little under powered but thats not to say the e10 is by any means.

The 8010 is alot more stable but obviously that's due to it having an arse and some weight out behind it, but that can also be a hindrance when working in tight situations, which is where its ment to be.

The current 8010 and my old one were both very trouble free, but I've owned from new so not been abused.
Ive had a few hoses blow on the e10 and the dx10 has had some warranty work for an engine knock.

I like them both as much as each and I'm happy sat on them all day but alot of people prefer the servos of the e10.

So what the heck is the point in the ‘micro plus’??? Am I missing something?
Not really a micro in terms of access compared to the standard but you can put them on some serious slopes and they won't flintch

Wacker/cat also doesn't and if they still made the hanix.
Kubota did do some halfarsed pull down levers to get digger controls but looks clumsy and claustrophobic
