E10 show off day! Got a free Bamboo out of this job. Bit tight getting in. Had to dance onto the steps then slide the ramp in afterwards. E10 going what it does best.. Getting into places that nothing else in its weight/power range can access. 350 hours and I should think its more than paid for itself already. (Although I still haven't finished paying the 0% finance!)

Its going on top of the bank of my shed site. It will help stabilise the soil.. and it cannot grow anywhere it shouldn't as will be surrounded by concrete. Plus its not spread much in the 20+ years its been in this garden. Not a naughty variant.
"Not a naughty variant"

I hope so....as otherwise it's mental how much it groes. Flailed som on Saturday . Used to be head high...now more like 12ft.

Mines a 2015 with about 1200hours. I’m second owner, previously a hire machine.Only really used on my own projects. It’s got a very slight drip from the rotary joint so once I’ve finished the current project I might part-ex it for a new one. Got a new set of tracks ready to go on too.

1 hour later. As you can see it’s dropped a bit on all the rams.

If I straighten the bucket back to where it was (flat bottom) the measurement to the bottom of the bucket is just under 53”. So 2” drop overall

Boom ram has extended by 1/2”
Dipper ram by 1 1/2”
Hope this helps.

631 hours, 2018 model. Had it longer than I thought and done less with it than I thought.

Just been and dug a bay tree out with it. 3 hours including travel, 240 in my back pocket and enough bay leaves to keep her indoors happy for years.

Thanks for doing that.
i guess most of the E10s will creep a little then, well those with a few hours on, i've just checked mine this time with engine running for an hour, it creeps down even faster😦 i guess this is down to the hydraulic fluid being more viscous when warm, i might be struggling getting this rectified under warranty.

I'm sure the boom on mine creeps and that's with engine running, not sure about the blade as I use mine quite a bit.
You could try greasing the rails/sliders on the track frame, try lifting the machine off the floor and pumping in and out a few times.
I've got the doosan version so has a crappy lever instead of a switch to change between blade and track width, the solenoid is under the right floor panel might be worth taking the panel off and see if it's moving ok.
One thing to watch out for is when the tracks are fully pumped in any pressure on the blade when it's on the ground will result in the tracks pumping out slightly, not so bad when your through a gap but crap if your in somewhere tight
I think a lot of used plant comes with zero warranty, if you managed to get some worth a call, always amazes me how used plant can be sold for thousands up on thousands and literally have zero back up

I suppose one could say, well it’s an excavator not a crane.
while your digging with it you don’t notice the creep on the boom & dipper, I intend to use it 80% as a excavator 20% as a crane, unless I find something else I can use it for:) maybe I could run over stuff and crush it & stick it on YouTube, folk will watch owt on the tube these days:)

Almost every digger I’ve had (including most of those with check valves) have had boom-creep to some extent. And I’ve pretty much owned them all from new, and serviced the s**t out of them! (They do work fairly hard I suppose, blowing the pressure-release-valves a lot of the time which I doubt helps things).

I watched Ali's digger diary on YouTube yesterday, & he had a bust hose to replace on the undercarriage on a e10, once he had got it up on blocks he removed a access panel & you could see all the crap that had been jammed up in there, this caused the hose to break as it had nowhere to go freely when the tracks were expanded & retracted.
Looks like i will have to have a poke around in there at sometime in the near future.

Yup. I wouldn't grease the sliders as it will just pick up dirt more readily.

539 hours on my one now, it seams to do about one job a year. It's been fairly reliable but I did have trouble with the blade change over switch and one battery died.
