Bobcat e10 keyless ignition

Hello everyone,
We have a little bobcat e10 on the farm and seeking some advice please.

It has a keyless ignition and I've attached a photo. Came to it this morning and on punching in the code the error light blinks 5 times, no beeps or anything. All fine last time I used it about a week ago.

When I purchased the used digger I only got one code, I guess the owner code and I can't find instructions for the panel on the Internet anywhere so no clue what the error means.

One thing to note, if I intentionally punch in an incorrect code it also blinks 5 times the same. I did wonder if someone has messed with the buttons and it's gone into some kind of lock down mode?

I hope someone has some experience with this type of ignition. Cheers, Steve.

It's one reason why I never specced keyless on any of mine.

I have heard the issue before but for the life of me I can't remember the out come.

Given than the keyless ignition pad is a simple plug in job to an even simpler engine, it can't be hard to bypass or replace with a key switch.

You'll probably find it's the same connector even.

It’s what I do!
Turn ignition off, run your finger up and down the buttons a couple of times, ignition on try your code again!
