Blowing main fuse

It does sound like a problem i had. Will be the wire not the plugs i bet. Theres probably a whole thread on it on the old forum.
Thats the beauty of furoms when you got lots of people's input, different ideas but hopefully someone touches on the right solution

Had the same problem on my forklift. Wire seemed fine. Ran a brand new one from ignition to started solenoid, problem solved. Won’t take long to test before installing more permanently.

Quick update

Replaced wire from ignition to starter plugs - still blew fuses with new wire - so started at back heater plug and disconnected that - still same - disconnected middle one too (without reconnecting back) and it started - reconnected back one and it blew ?? - disconnected it again and it started
So seems unlikely but appears like 2 of them are buggered ? going to order a set of new heater plugs and see if that cures it.

Either way it seems willing to start on one heater plug (in these temperatures at least) so will get me going next week

Sod that its been running on chopped up wire they are 80 amp

putting some drains along front of a house today and little thing fired up happy as larry on one heater plug and its turned cooler today

I've got 2 mini diggers with 3 cylinder perkins and unless they have heat they wont start.
Come to think of it i think theres onlu 2 working on the case.
