Good evening, I’ve got the above dumper. It’s just come back after a friend has had it. It’s got the following 2 issues. 1) ignition switches on, won’t start though, unless you cross the starter & when it is running the battery light is on. 2) forward can be selected off the dash and it engages and moves forward, when reverse is selected there is nothing - it doesn’t even engage. Apparently, the battery was flat when low loader collected it and it was jump started across the stater. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

wire off the back of the ignition switch?
if it's engaging fwd it's got power to the switch ... so maybe wire between it and solenoid, or solenoid or solenoid earth ... assume this is a shuttle like me Thwaites?

I think it's the forward reverse switch not exciting the ignition switch when in neutral.

sounds a fair bet that ..... isolates crank if not in neutral (y) (y)
