I find it a lot quicker tbfSo whats the benefit of a cordless greaser? Are they really that much quicker? Maybe on big machines I can see the appeal but minis take minutes to grease up anyway![]()
And assumedly no airlocks like cheap manual guns?I find it a lot quicker tbf
I also have the Fuchs system and will actually reach for one of those before the Makita if they are both to hand, simply because changing cartridges is so much easier (and that’s the real bane of any grease gun howsoever powered imo).So whats the benefit of a cordless greaser? Took the words out of my mouth- just watched a video of the Makita and thought no way I'm going back to those cartridges having got used to the Fuchs screw in ones.I also have the Fuchs system and will actually reach for one of those before the Makita if they are both to hand, simply because changing cartridges is so much easier (and that’s the real bane of any grease gun howsoever powered imo).
I've never used one, but the other day I'd had enough of crawling under the avant to grease it and having to hold the end on the nippel, hold the gun and pump the gun. Yes the end might be worn but...So whats the benefit of a cordless greaser? Are they really that much quicker? bought my grease from Smith and Allen for years ... great lip - slip the cap off the back end, slide into the gun and rip the front end open ... never get 'greased up' and the tubes are always empty with the Allemite (C@T) gunsI've got the Milwaukee M18 and it's decent, although it's caked in grease, I need to give it a tidy (and the machines)
What ever you do make sure you get a g coupler
Only slight issue I have with it, is the jcb cartridges can go up the tube if you do it up too tight, as the JCB cartridges are hit and miss with the lip, cartridges with a full lip around the end would be ideal.
I've never needed to bleed it, although this k your meant to
Which one did you go forWell the bullet has been bitten
I've had a few different grease cartridges and they are hit and miss with the lips on the cartridges which can be annoying. Only problem with the G coupler it doesn't fit on a lot of the nipples on the smaller machines.I've got the Milwaukee M18 and it's decent, although it's caked in grease, I need to give it a tidy (and the machines)

Looks substantial....Where's it going to fit on a mini digger though
It'd fit behind the seat on all 3 current minis I've got, so that wouldn't be a worry if you was keeping one in the machine. But my idea is that I can do all machines and the grab that bit easier when they are altogether in the yard....that's why the pump gun has become tiresome. I know its still the same amount of cartridge changes but pressing the buttons got to be easier.....we will soon see thoughLooks substantial....Where's it going to fit on a mini digger though![]()

Don’t worry about its weight , it’s that quick you won’t be holding it long . Bin that strap
