Hello All,
I'm a new member across the pond in America. I've been interested in 'tiltys' for a while and want to thank you all for your hands on, common sense observations, and advice. I recently sold my old Cat 205LC(16K + hrs and still purring
)and the boss gal has OKed spending some of the proceeds on upgrading my 3-1/2 ton Bobcat E35 mini. It's got an extendable stick and I've installed a second auxiliary hydraulic circuit so I now have two sets of hydraulic quick connects on the stick. My initial reason for doing it was plumbing for a progressive link thumb I'm going to build but the thought occurred that if I pinned the extenda stick I might be able to set up a bare bones tilty. I got interested in the TR06Nox unit from Kinshofer because it's compact and light weight and I figured I've got two auxiliary circuits, why not just hook them directly to the tilt and swivel ports and have a nice simple setup for a grading bucket,beam ,etc.. No expensive electronics, controls, joysticks, and so on. So I called Kinshofer N.A. and spoke with a salesman who told me that the unit itself has electronics inside and I could not operate it without a control. Being a stubborn yankee I visited your tilt rotator forums and came across the one from October 27, 2018 labeled Kinshofer Nox? where it sounds as though Shovelhands did pretty much what I was thinking on his JCB. Was the salesman correct or can I run that unit well with my auxiliary's ? Not a large knowledge base in the states as tiltys are just starting to find their way here. I've only seen one (engcon) in the flesh.
