Evening guys wondering if anyone can shed some light for me , there’s an auger for sale at an auction and the only info they can give me is it’s off of a 3 ton machine , I tried reading the serial plate but it was pretty battered , it’s got the same size fittings as on my machine And the same size pin , after any sort of reassurance it’ll all be ok

yeh ..... no pockets in a shroud ... so you can't take it with you ...... two chances on the auger it's either, eff you see kay-ed .. or it ain't

2nd this. They seem to have come down a lot in price from a few years ago. You can buy the lot for £1000 with a couple of augers that will guaranteed fit your machine no messing. If you've got to pay £600 upwards for a 2nd hand one and then spend time modifying is it really worth it?

Is it a digga unit and does it have a 3 pin headstock?

Just as a guideline, i sell the Digga units for about £1500 inc drive unit, 300mm flight, hoses, hitch, delivery. Price does vary on model though

Sorry I missed you yesterday mr sanders ! It was a single pin which would fit my machine but went for just shy of £700 more than I’d like to pay for second hand which might be sat in the shed all year

You can hire. I have an account with TP and they cross hired me an auger torque x2500 with the correct hitch and of course the auger. All delivered to site and ready to connect. Sensible price.
