I've used a pdd2 from the hire shop, worked a treat with 200mm flight. Says for .75T to 1.5T.

Or the other option, Auger torque 1200 which is a bit smaller.... 0.8 - 1T

That's a good price from what I've seen. Does Paul have a website or business name?

damn is he still about ...... known him 40 odd years but not seen him in the last ten or more ... Paul is quite a character ... could tell a few stories -- Serge me genny man worked for Paul for years ... used to run a tool hire op. in Aber. -- Gwent Tools (known locally as the Gwent Fool) .. which he could be, but I always got on well with him and liked him ... he must be pushing 70 now
pass that address quite regularly ... will have to pop in next time and wind the ol' bugger up a bit ... AFAIK he still lives in Grosmont

I have a digga auger as that's what you got years back when you bought a taki micro with buckets hammer auger and trailer as a complete set. Tbh the limiting factor is the machine flow at the small end of the market i can't see brand of auger making that much difference provided you buy one matched to the machine (or if you envisage a slightly bigger machine at a later date try and buy one which would suit both). It'll likely come down to price and what you can actually get.

Try and get a cradle hitch if poss. The dangly setup without one is a bit of a pain when tracking around site

My understanding is Augertorque where made in the UK and Digga where second fiddle.... Apparently not. Happy with my Digga unit now :ROFLMAO:
