I do too, watch it every week, just about now...

There are sales for sure but its certainly different feeling to the place, i just think the UK has bought what it needs give or take. The prices falling isnt bad, it will promote export come back a bit

Your comment prompted me to have a look at a few dealers websites ...haven't looked for months and yep people who have had next to nothing have have decent stock levels again.

If the export process has sorted itself out again might be worth looking again 🤔

Richie's today was interesting There is kit out there for reasonable value . I would start looking again for sure but the export process is still a tad complicated but depends on circumstances

A fair few showing as Unsold 🤷🏻‍♂️
think a lot of the ''current bids" were unrealistic 'starts' ...
an auction should be allowed to find it's own level/start point, not be compelled to start at a given point ....
if the item is worth having it will naturally find its own level ....
these starting bids are absolute bollox a lot of the time ...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
if they want to reach a level, set a reserve - then see how close stuff gets, rather than have no bids -- and no idea of an actual/realistic level it is likely to reach .....:unsure:
most of these on liners aren't worth looking at when they set unrealistic starts - just set a reserve and let the market decide ........ really pisses me off TBH. ....🤬
when you go to a live auction and the auctioneer tries a high start, he's duty/legally bound to take whatever bid is proffered, no matter how low - it's a bid ... and if they ain't set a reserve, you can get lucky - sometimes :giggle:
have had some fab bargains over the years, but I made the effort to turn up and offered what I considered I'd pay ;)... everyone else had the chance to better it (y)...... same on line ... everyone else gets the chance, who bothers to look.
IMHDO setting silly starts is counter productive and doesn't encourage folk to bid at all :(

With every man and his dog offering internet auctions now, I often wonder if there’s anyone that gets a genuine bargain on machinery and vehicles etc.

I had a few good deals at the RB auctions when they were local, haven’t got the time to travel now so don’t bother.

Was thinking the same ...couldn't beat the odd mooch about and the pretending not to look interested when you spotted a gem 🤩

We need someone to sort it and list stuff on one place with location so it's easier to search through without pages and pages of what could be dross for some but gold for others

Few machines and some lovely old trucks at Malcolm Harris auction today, he seemed to think things were settling down price wise

Yes same as the Fermec, They are quite well known for having problems with the 4 wheel steer, They also have an odball control for the front loader and 4in1. Better of with a Fermec 860, A brilliant machine with the 20in front wheels, dod i say i had two of them!!
