I don't know what that's at but it would want to be cheap as they are currently £36k +vat for the 3.5t towing capacity model with mid level trim.

I wonder how much of a job it would be to weld a proper chassis in there, extend it even and put a nice tray bed on.
unless the rear axle remains in the same position, extending the wheel base will completely screw the steering geometry, with regards to the Akerman linkage set up - would eat front tyres unless modified

If its anything like my old disco chassis it will be thin as all the way forward.
Breaking the bake of a ute has become common in Oz with people overloading them and then hitching on an overloaded caravan

It's the ratchet strap that worries me.
