says side shift in that ad. ... is it only a small amount and the whole mast side shifts? can't see any side shift mechanism on the carriage, but can just see 'a ram?' at the base of the mast in one pic. .... never really had a good look at one of these

run off a breaker pack presumably? ... be alright for blocking up but as said heavy old thing with the hoses attached

i seem to remember something about using them for cutting something other than wood in an explosive environment

I have one that we used in a chemical factory to cut up a timber walk way, powered it off the mini digger that was in there with a grab on to pull it apart
