would no way pass an historic inspection .... non original coil sprung chassis, non original axles, non original diffs, non original engine, (doubt the g/box is a ser.II) .... plod are getting very wise to these so-called 'historics' 

that's a can of worms
need 8 points (or more) to qualify for historic resto./reg.
original chassis = 5 points (or a brand new replacement of identical type, suitably stamped)
original suspension = 2 points (leaf must be leaf but can have new components)
original engine = 1 point
original axles & diffs, g/box & steering = 2 points (got to be all of 'em)
