There is in reality no difference between the rules regarding a telehandler, forklift or crane. All by law need LOLER Inspections, lift plans and correctly trained competent staff.

From my reading last week as per the lift plan thread. Everything that lifts anything is a crane in terms of paperwork. Even a mewp seems to require a lift plan

Bobcat bought Sambron telehandlers years ago, and they have had a rotary telehandler for year's. I think there was a tie up with an Italian company from memory

Arnt they also sold as Massey Ferguson. And possibly gehl or gennie
