When they’re that long, do they not just end up being hard to balance out once you start loading with machines etc?

Would be good for shifting old oil tanks around . Also ideal for a shed builder. Not ideal for machines unless you have something awkward and long . Or a couple of old tractors for showing .

imagine what it weighs and then deduct it from 3500kgs .. got to be very close to the legal length too -- used to be 23ft inc. drawbar, but think it's been upped to 7m, so must be borderline

I think these kind of trailers are bought for something very specific. I can't see having one as a general purpose trailer would make much sense.
Popular with the marquee blokes and seen them with the mini forwarders like doobins on.
Or for delivering septic tanks.

Bloody hell. I've all on going through our streets with a gh1054 let alone finding a parking place. For me that trailer would be everything I didn't want. But obviously it's just thing for other people's work.

It's 7m excluding drawbar a frame, any longer has to be towed by greater than 3.5t vehicle.

Only a couple miles from us. Genuine outfit. They have done a few hiab/haulage jobs for me and we have done a couple plumbing jobs.
