Spelt wrong and needs taxing!Never seen a tracked mini with a plate before, why would this be? My E10 and counterbalance FLT are insured on my fleet policy for road use, and my Moffett Mounty is plated (as a fire engine oddly, so £0 RFL)

Heck that could be rich pickings for plod round here !!For road works. If it isn't working within barriers in a lane closure. Even if tracking down the road to load on a trailer away from the site then it needs to be road registered and operator hold cat h driving license. And yes people have been nicked for it and 6 points.
Ditto.Heck that could be rich pickings for plod round here !!
We use our forktrucks on road all the time for off loading...just insured on our fleet as special vehicles iirc...![]()

I did look at this briefly a couple years ago as my little forklift can have a GVW of 7 ton which is outside my B+EI don't think forklifts would get you in as much trouble. As the thing with mini diggers is getting done for driving otherwise in accordance with your license. And thats the 6 pointer. Whereas forklifts are wheeled so would be a lesser charge for it not being registered

My Moffet has plates... but you try and find out if I'm cosher to trundle a pallet up the road for a 100 metres. Mine field. I wonder how many on here have Cat H on their licence? Might be worth an extra post.I just used to chuck the trade plates on my FLTs if venturing out on the road/nipping up into town to do someone a lift![]()

Sounds like ADR for car licensing!I'm guessing noone. Haven't even seen it asked for in any job adverts for machine drivers on highway work.
Only People I know of who have it at for driving cat challengers.
