When you buy a bit of plant new it usually purchased by the dealer either from the manufacturer or in some cases the import agent and sold to you the end user. They you start using it, or put it in the shed until you use it or decide to sell it on but mean time you claim your 130% . So you could be 3rd or 4th owner but first user to claim? Unless someone who owned it before you has already claimed on it but who has this register 🤔 we need @HMRC to come and advise us mear mortal bumpkins

“We are informed the tractor has an unconfirmed gearbox issue and only appears to operate in crawler gear.” If that doesn’t scream a 20k repair bill I don’t know what does!!

Not necessarily. Where the crawler box is rarely used it's not uncommon for the cables and linkages to get knackered leading to these symptoms. I have driven a few with stickers in the cab saying do not touch the selector. As to put it back in high range involves tyre off and crawling under the cab.

Of course it could be a strip the gearbox job. Big gamble.

The cables are abit stuff on mine from time to time, usually lack of use! , but looking at the tractors computer screen in the auction I’d say it’s more than just worn cables ;)
