Going to be a long hot day, Westlake Ploughs sale up near Peterborough. Fortunately there are a couple of indoor areas to hide from the sun!
Over 1000 lots, hope I end up with more than a roll of netting, seeing às I was up early to fit a set of wheels on the big trailer

Well I collected a reasonable trailer full. Couple of straining posts, the roll of debris netting- bit of screening for the 'open' sides of my scrapheap challenge digger shed- , really nice old Allen scythe, turns over on the cord, all levers engage etc so I recon it'll go with some petrol , guillotine, got a feeling a mate of mine will make use of that.
Bowser should be easy enough to sell but the bolens and topper will need some serious attention, got a bit carried away
Prices seemed fairly high to me, seller/auctioneer did well

last retirement sale I went to went mental, with the exception of a tidy old genny, with a 4236 perky powering it - 25kva, that was mine at 300 quid, 'til I realised I was bidding against a neighbouring guy who's field I was tipping all my spoil in, digging out 'me patch' - so it didn't come home -- TBH I doubt he's ever done anything with it, as he asked me if I'd come and set it up for him, electrically - never heard any more about it

strong money for that stroppy, but tidy - Dutch reg plate on the back and been listed a while ... needs a good kicking on price - as far as I can make out it ain't up to much on the load front though

Yeah it’s a 2K + vat trailer in Uk market as we all love Welsh trailers not Dutch trailers.
Fancy it as better size for tugging behind FWD vans and legally limited to 2.8t behind.

think that's a 1900kg trailer though, by the plate and the tyres - 1Kn = 102kg ..
so bit of a fresh air carrier, much like a luton tranny
nice looking trailer though
