old 2" ball coupling on that ... will jump off a 50mm ball at the first good bump in the road ... even with the probably significant nose weight exerted

(I buy plenty of new bits and bobs off it)

Used to sell quite a bit on auctions etc.
Last year or two just seems a right pita.
Folk constantly asking how much you want when it's on auction or even fixed price what's your best price . Or stupid questions that are clearly in the description.

Is it me or have folk just got dumber ?

Interesting I don't use that at all unless someone sends me a number directly if something decent.

My conclusion is folk have just got used getting everything for nothing and are impatient AF.
Where it ends I don't know. Amazon has a lot to answer for.

I’ve had enough with eBay, fees are stupid, even charging you fees on the postage!

Hate Facebook it’s full of cretins!

Keep missing local auction , next one I can get is July, have about 3 trailer loads of stuff to take there now , just going to have a half yearly clear out and it goes for whatever it goes for!

Some people don't seem to know how to communicate in a way that gives them half a chance of getting a good deal or even managing to buy the thing at all.
Don't just say 'best price', try having a conversation.
Oh and if your name is 'hard to pronounce' I'm not likely to respond, life is far too short for that kind of agro/scamming.

I've taken a couple of loads of odds and sods to the auction this year, far easier. Its the only sensible way of selling broken tools, odd fence panels etc. Stuff that's not worth anything much but is too good to bin.

yeh we have a local auction fortnightly ... good place to get rid ... got a pile accumulating - time for a trailer load ... and earn some brownie points with 'the boss'

This is why I try to avoid the local auction - I always end up buying other peoples crap!
