Anyone spent much time on a CAT 307c?

Possibilty for replacing my old Kubota. 2005 vintage monoboom with steel tracks. Reckon it's a little pricey at £22500 but just the spec I want. Are they decent machines?

They’re good little machines tbh, I’ve a 307b 2001, wide tracks but an offset boom one, only 4700hrs when I bought it last year for £15k, so yeah I’d say that is a touch price. But if it’s what you want and there’s no others about….

Yeah often keep an eye on Proctors stuff he has a tidyish looking case cx80 c 2015 for only a few more grand which on the face of it seems better value. Something about this Cat seems very straight and original though and has a good arse on it for boulder work.

I know what your saying, and mine will lift like nothing I’ve driven at that size, but I dont see the at above £20k.
proctor has a couple of kobelco’s and to be fair i always found them capable machines.
depends what your looking for at the end of the day and how much you want to spend, some people will pay top money for something that looks straighter where’s as there’s folk like me (and Rory) that prefer to spend a bit less even if it means tidying them up a bit.
mines almost ready to move on tbh but it’s not immaculate tho it’s low hour’d and mechanically good

I'm kinda in the middle. I want something that's immaculate but I don't want to pay top money
I don't mind old so much as long as it's tight and presentable. But I agree it's pricey. Supposedly only done 4000hrs and original paintwork is pretty decent with only countweight a bit scratched. I'm really not into fixing stuff up tbh.
