Anyone got a Honda GX120 Workshop Manual?

As title suggests, I'm after a workshop manual (or at least the torque setting to rebuild) a Honda GX120 engine (there seems to be different models, are they principally the same or different internally?) on my Ammann wacker plate. It had a terrible smoking habit and you cant take it anywhere without it lighting up and having a puff. Smoking isnt allowed in schools anymore and as a lot of my work is in them, I thought I should do something about it!
Bore seems good, so I think its a fairly simple new rings and gasket set job. A sub £50 fix, however, in my rush to take it to bits, I have overlooked the complications in putting it back together. Anyone done one before? Any tips? Ideally, I need the torque settings for the conrod, crankcase, head etc and maybe how you go about timing them as I think the crankshaft might have jumped a tooth or two when I was taking it apart.
I know I could put a Loincin on it, or buy a new Honda engine, or just let it smoke as its old enough to know better. But I don't want to do that, I want to fix it, its cant be that hard can it!
So your help guys is greatly appreciated.
A photo of it on the bench is attached as we all like to critique each others workshops and I don't want to spoil the fun! 🤪

I think the gx 120 are pre much the same the final part of the engine code signifies the crank output type ie 19 mm straight keyed or 3/4‘’ or tapered shaft etc.
Nice workshop btw

How bad did it smoke?
The equivalent of 40 a day - in engine terms, I had to keep topping it up with oil once a job.

Thanks Steve, I have the 19mm shaft so that makes sense and should make it easy to source parts for.

If you're looking online for info broaden it by searching for gx160 stuff. Used in karts and a lot and stuff like torque settings won't be that different. Tbh I think you're being a bit ott just get it nipped up

I am a real fan of the honda GX range I have quite a few in various applications, you have done well to wear one out on a wacker plate.

I’ll be interested in how this goes.

I have a little Honda engine on a mixer that smokes badly. Can’t recall the model but it’s a small one about 50cc I think.

I’ve fitted new rings and valve guide seals, it’s improved a bit but is not like it should be.

And yes before anyone asks I did break the glaze in the bore when I put the new rings in. Also make sure you put the rings on the piston the right way up, it’s important- don’t ask how I know😀

Got luck

Rob
