Well the new coil I've had sitting for a good few months don't fit 🤦‍♂️ should have maybe tried it before now, it seems a different size inside as in it won't slip into the rod. The guy never said there was an option for this just gave me the coil an I left.
So she got so bad something had to be done. I’ve tried messing about with the coils and rejigging the wiring and individually powering the coils to get the steering to come out of 4wheel steer to re-align the two axels but nothing seemed to work. Decided something major needed to be done, the valve must be stuck!
So I unscrewed the coil rod only to discover some FKUECR had been in there before I got her and fitted a spacer pin to hold it in position in 4 wheel steer because the coils/wiring was knacked. 😖 swapped this out to the other side which was 2 wheel steer for re-alignment then swapped it back. Hey presto it’s now like a different machine actually driving straight for the first time in over 6 months 😄.
We bought at auction so had obviously been bodged to get it through the ring but has lasted till now like this. we knew it was an ouwra machine and didn’t pay allot for her so not to bothered about it but ts the time it taken to find this out that’s the pain 😡. Thinking all the time it’s an electrical issue turned out to be mechanically rigged 🤔

I’m thinking I could fit a manual lever op cetop3 to this for future use, I know it’s under the bonnet but no big deal for all the times it will be used.
does anyone know which it will need to be? Cetop 3, manual lever 2 position. With detent , but what port Configuration is needed?
Flowfit have some options here.

Can you not just repair the original? Either with a new coil or fix the wiring?

It does sound the best option but ive been looking through the wiring on this for a while and it’s well goosed so would need a re-wire and new coils and possibly new valve depending on how much its been butchered. I was just thinking for £50 odd quid for the manual lever valve would be quickest simplest cheapest option for something not being used all that often 🤷🏾

I know that it my sound like a cheap fix to modify it, but have you actually priced up the genuine parts needed to put it right? Even sections of the wiring loom may not be as much as you expect. And at least it would all be functioning correctly.

Coolant leak has developed on our 532-125 loadall.. it's a 2002 has the JCB engine and has developed a major leak. From what I can see it's in tha back of the radiator somewhere, don't know if it's the radiator or a hose. Will need to strip it out a bit to see more. Anyone any experience of this and or suggest where best to start 🙈

Can't be of any help but I'll likely have it to look forward to at some point 🙈

I would think 2002 would be a perkins engine. Jcb engine would be around 2005 I think.

I looked in under the bonnet and it had JCB on the rocker cover, didn't look closer than that just presumed it to be JCB 🤷

JCB are a fan of using permanent crimps on coolant hoses had a few fail to hold tight and weep but have had on a 3cx the rad lean from where the header is crimped to cores

ditto on me P38, but the lower tank, not the header
