Getting some brown polish, usually they'd be relegated to their proper use by now and just soaked in dubbin.
Really hoping that the Arbortec Fellhunters become available again, seem to be "awaiting C.E. recertification" for a while now ...... and they are European made

Gawd no , definitely put off by the young lime green clad "brand ambassadors" at one of the shows telling me that the Fellhunters are Soo out of fashion

They were always the most comfortable boots out there, but I had a run of the soles falling apart so gave up on them in the end.

Yeah tbf the soles wear ruddy fast but have held up not bad apart from that.
Arbortecs always strike me as heavy but solid.?

I didn't have the sole problems with Haix ..... the steel toe caps just fell out.
Fellhunters do definitely feel clumpy to start with but with use they get better and better.

we use the timberland pro composite. light and very warm in summer. Always get another pair under warranty (screwfix)after 9 months as the stitching comes apart.

tried loads of brands and these are most comfortable.

Haix go up to size 15 on a lot of their range but you might have to order direct.
Xr3 are their groundworker ones with mid sole protection and waterproofing, I've had a couple of pairs and they seem to last a good 2 years.
I need a new pair as they are stitching is starting to come apart under the laces but we're bought in 2021 so have lasted

Timberland in uk etc are nightmare at stopping at 12 they never seem to stock 13s etc got a few pairs of their boots in 13-14 but it’s a struggle and are my favourite non work boots etc

Solid gear boots are comfy & light, Part of the snickers group I think, Some companies let you return them after 30 days of wearing if you’re not happy no questions asked!

Damaged the ligaments in my ankle pretty badly a few years ago (not as bad as you by the sounds of it!),constantly recurring issues,steel blue boots are the best I have found by far,so good I even wear them to work out now(admittedly I train in a garage alone,),
they are pricey but well worth it.

Exactly my experience. I'm on my 4th pair of hair xr3 now. I find them extremely comfortable but 2 years is the max they last. I also like the size they do- easy to reorder online and know it will fit rather than chancing it with another brand as sizes seem to vary between brands

It was the steel plate in the sole that always fell out - that sliced the tread off (usually with plenty of wear remaining).

screwfix are very good for inifinate warranty. We have a trade card and their system has to credit the broken one back then order a replacement giving infinite warranty.

On our 9th titan wet/dry vac in 4 years.
