do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
have similar things in washing machines to sense water levels when filling ... as a pipe fills up the air pressure increases on the diaphragm and shuts the water off hence the 25" of H2O label .... try yer local washing m/c repair shop

From your airfilter?

From the Donaldson catalogue (page 201)

(you'd need to check if they are one wire or two)
would imagine they're two wire ... placcy/bakerlite body so non conductive .. would need two contacts ...... well found @Gecko (y)

tells you when yer motor's gasping for breath 'cos yer filters clogged
True, but the other way to look at it: It tells you you've forgotten to check the filter in waaaay too long!
If you are on top of your own maintenance, you could easily live without it.

One thing to check though - have the electrical contacts failed or is the diaphragm perforated?
If it's the contacts - no problem.
If it's the diaphragm - run a screw or some glue into the vent hole to prevent unfiltered air being sucked into the engine.
