Okay I’ll stop moaning that my type1 has gone up to £14.75 .. it’s a 50min car drive from the quarry , easily over a hour in a loaded wagon over the cat and fiddle(anyone ever driven that road will realise it’s a fuel guzzling trip when loaded!)

I'll stop moaning about paying £12.50 for type 1 and £17.50 for clean stone (20 ton load delivered) handy being 15 mile from quarry i guess

When I called mount sorrel quarry they wanted £25 a ton collected

You'd be better off buying out of AR aggregates yard in Leicester at that kind of money or call central agg for a delivered price. Bullimores out that way too?

I’m about the same, £350 inc vat for 10t in Hertfordshire

£30/ton delivered on a 4 wheeler 11 ton wagon here (sussex) which is handy for tight spots.

Else I think around £22-24/ton on an 8 wheeler.

Wanlip, that was delivered. Just seen the at yard would have been a good hour plus round trip. Tried a few places and all coming out around the same.
Biggest issue was we worked off a given weight dug out as the area was under water, and ended up with too much material delivered. Although have a job 8 miles away from there, restarting soon so will drop the machine back there and load the tipper trailer up for 2 or 3 loads

was told the other day that the price of crush had doubled, due to high demand. Only plus side of that is the job I’m currently on won’t be tempted to use crush instead off Type1!
Type1 is circa £22-24 per tonne, or was just before Christmas. Not had any recently so it might have gone up?

I've been down in the Skip wagon twice this week to drop digger and 2t dumper down. But nowhere to park and it's a twat for space with multiple builder wankers everywhere. So 3.5t dropped in the morning first thing, does me for the day as it's only backfilling a telecoms trench beside the road. Later in the job if we need bigger tonnage I might run it in, but it makes no odd's to me.... cheaper than dumpy bags and It's coming when I need it, as opposed to when the merchant feels like dumping it...

FYI Crush is £8.50/t at source.... I buy it Ex the local stockpiling yard at £13/t when dreying with the skip lorry.... good £100 in taking 6 ton out to site with my lorry at £30/t But it's a ballache to do that and try to also do the job!

Local farmer spotted my stockpile the other day and asked if he could have it all...for nowte obviously.....cheeky sod!

Lad I know in Stoke now has a j45 crusher along side his Herbert If anyone requires
