I have rented an es282zt 33 HP and an ES85SB 73 HP from the same rental company several times and they have just been absolutely great in power, smoothne's and precision and seem to be well built

Yes the spec seems way up compared to the normal kit you see over here ,seems our local dealer who only ever had some old 1.8t minis in the yard anyway is going over to cat so makes eurocomach nearly impossible to find.

its the only way to do deals
absolutely .... let the machine sell itself .... detest high pressure, being leapt on sales of any kind .... you're either going to want it, based on your own appraisal .. or you ain't, but having the time to make your own leisurely judgement is paramount. (y)

I had come round to the fix boom machine and have gone off the takeuchi 290 which I was originally planning die to people saying they don't flow share too good. Was just having a trawl and found this. Any thoughts?

nice paint job
you might be looking at it on a super-duper screen, and me on a smashed iPad, but why has that had a paint job? Admittedly the bodywork is very clean and shiny, but couldn’t it have just been looked after? And tbh if the bodywork has been painted then it looks like a tidy job on my screen.

To be fair for a machine that age it's not big hours but there's no way the red would be that shiny at 7 years old unless it's never seen daylight.

Well I didn’t pay enough attention to realise it was 7 years old, so fair comment on the red being too shiny. But that’s not had the usual 5 gallon refurb.

and it’s only the bonnets and counterweight as far as I can see

Tbf my 3 ton volvo was painted before I got it 9 years ago and hardly put a foot wrong. However think ill probably hold out for exactly what I'm after

If I liked them I’d have no issues buying that tbh. That kind of paint doesn’t do a machine any harm in my opinion.

it’s when they’ve painted half the glass, gone over the concrete splashes and dents, all the hoses have had a coat, and the thing is hanging to bits to start with.......that’s the usual painted pig, and that one doesn’t appear to be that from here...

Think that's a takeuchi dealer so probably be okay

I agree with James on the paint ..... I had my 8t painted - counterweight and panels - I saw it first and it was in normal sort of condition but I knew the paint would be a good job and they did a close to factory finish and 5 years later still looks mint - so there are paint jobs and paint jobs.

You'd have to go view and have your wits about you. Its not big hours for age but going by the paint missing from the undercarriage and marks on boom ram ram they could have been hard/rough hours. There again hitch end of dipper looks fairly clean and unpainted. Eyes wide open if you go for a look

totally agree .... I did say "nice paint job" , which it is ...... not a 10 gallon refurb  ... quality job ..... as for the rest, could've been deep digging or over obstacles ..... if after one I'd certainly pay it close attention (y)(y)
