Like them rubber. The nuts looked like they could be tightened. I know nothing about minis
the rubber parts company with the metal cross it's bonded to ... you may need some new ones ... plenty of mini spares specialists about .... that is a very old set up ... was on some of the first minis built

Thought same.
Huddersfield lot or padiham are both decent outfits but not cheap these days.
If you struggle there's a guy at pilling that has about 250 shells in various states at last count
Just watch it though prices skyrocketing now even for bags of crap 😏

Well it must be old because of the engine. Think they have just chopped up the front of a mini and put it on the back of this.

Jesus 5 years ago I bought a Volvo 940 estate for £500 did sod all to it mechanically, and drove it 2150miles across Europe, then sold it a couple to use as a mini camper van who were traveling around Europe for a year.
4 years ago I bought a 2003 Jag X type, high spec, 2.5 v6, absolutely mint body, fsh, long mot, 4 virtually new quality tyres, 90k on the clock, £500!!!
Did 4000 miles in 3 months, finishing off with a week long, 1800 mile Scottish touring holiday then chopped it in against a discovery, basically got my money back!
Ridiculous amount of car for the money, would do 30mpg as well, if I'm ever in need of cheap to buy/run transport, it'll be another one of those!

Been look at doing the exact same thing for my daughter, just everyone wants mega money for piles of sh!t nowadays, don't get me wrong I'm not looking for a minter, but where's all the £150 scrappers that have good engines just failed an mot gone?

More money in scrapping them, by the time you’ve taken off the cats/dpfs/battery/alloys
