yes it is a very old dated truck, once the trucks were right-hand drive but lacked power steering, the drivers and truckers of big trucks had biceps and big forearms like arm wrestling like boxers. what do you think of the machinery in question. someone advised me not to use the excavator, the truck is evident that it is a boar cart is a wreck, a war wreck, but the money is few the roads that you have to travel are ugly dirt roads are country lanes, I'm afraid for the suspensions and the road layout of the loaded truck, they are mountain roads with curves and bends and steep descents, I think you would have chosen a daf and a volvo as a mini, thanks to your intervention, greetings to all.

aye, I can see the logic in that ....... but a hell of a step out the cab !!
I used to prefer LHD cranes ... viz wasn't so hot, but you always stepped out of it onto the verge/pavement, not the line of traffic bustin' their nuts to get by you when you stopped ..
used to have some of each LHD/RHDs .. the 10, 18 and one of the 25s and 30s were RHD. T'other 25, 30 and the 45 were left hookers so you always got a sun tan on each arm, when the sun was out ... you just cooked in the Fairy cab - all glass and in the centre of the machine

I remember reading in the old “Truck” magazine in the early 80’s about Swiss hauliers. Saurer used to make max weight four, six and eight wheelers just under seven feet wide and rhd especially for mountain roads. Wish I’d kept all of those old magazines, there were some great articles about unusual haulage jobs.

most 'conventional' truck cranes were circa 8' 6" wide ... used half shafts from breakers were always too short - OE only as a rule. Fortunately I only ever had to buy one
