JCB Perkins 3 cylinder with hydraulic pack 25 to 30 years old in storage, what machine would it have been used in.

The Perkins engine was used to test the suspension set up rubber mounts. Then put in storage for around 30 years.

Would need a shot of the other side, but at first glance it looks like the one in my 803.

There are quite a few different cubic capacities versions of that engine series, that all look similar from the outside.
You would need the code of the plate by the injector pump to ID its size. I`ve got a feeling there may also be a series number cast on the side, reading 103 dash something.

If it’s for a JCB 801 it will be a 103-10 engine. I think if its for a JCB 803 it will be a 103-13 engine.
