3.5tn Tipper trailer

I chose a 8x5 TT2515 as although it's only 2.7 it means that it hitched up behind a van it's more likely to be compliant. Ours has mesh sides so when ripping out concrete block plinths for old oil tanks etc it tends to get filled above the drop sides, so I know that if we used a bigger one we would be always over van weight and possibly over 3.5t as well. The only time I'd want a bigger one is if its just soil being dug out, but that's rare.

10ft/3.5t one has the advantage that you could take a 1.8t digger to the job with you too.

I found with my old 10' ifor with tb016 on it felt very unsteady due to the height
Get the 12x6, fill it to the sky and drag it everywhere! Impossible to overload (maybe not legally…) - if you can get it in/on it it will carry it. Without a doubt the most versatile trailer I own, it would be the last one I sold (I’ve had a few and will never not have one).

I hate loading the micro onto the tipper! Life so much easier and safer with mesh ramp on a GD trailer. GH1054 coming soon. Might even sell the tipper one day as if we are doing rip outs we can chuck rubble into cut down IBCs which we can then fork off as required.

We’ve got 6 trailers but 12ft tipper is on almost every day have had 3 ton on it before for a short trip off the highway, cracking trailers that tow so well and so easy to reverse and squeeze into my drive every night. (Got about 2” spare room on gatepost reversed in off fairly busy road)

Was looking for “ifor” in my photos threw up the little 8x5 we’ve still got but yanmar was stolen many years ago. Our first mini that had a pair of them little work horses 😂

Maybe I just need a bigger tipper!
