It is but ive a fair bit of equity in it
Tell the finance company it’s not for for purpose and the dealer won’t help. They will lean on them.

What are the other ‘many faults’? Sounds like you should reject the machine, not fit for purpose.

I already have cnh have put some pressure on as i was wanting a refund its had faults from new and started at 60hrs when it wouldnt slew right and when slewed left it wouldnt stop they have put a new valve block in now but are saying the cavitation is just how they are and they have done everything as per protocol in fixing it

Machine wouldnt slew right then when slewed left it wouldnt stop unless key tirned off. Then it would only track on one side. Then q hitch ram seal went. The bucket ram has been like this from new and if it has the breaker on it can nearly hit the lift ram and if grading and you get a full bucket and lift the boom the bucket ram bangs back about 100 - 150mm

No way is that acceptable . You need to get heavier with them . If they’ve had it ten weeks you should be looking for a new machine .
Ask them to see another one the same and see if it behaves the same way . Or better still find one that someone else has bought for a comparison . That is shocking service .

Sounds dangerous to me, I’m trying to think of any instances that I’ve had a machine do this.. and under normal working conditions I can’t think of any!

Maybe if you curl a bucket back 90% of the way and apply all the machine weight to it you can get the ram to collapse, but that’s just abusing it… you’re just grading!

I have a funny feeling there gonna fob me off the salesman rang me today and hes gone from a salesman tone of voice to a solicitors tone of voice and even had the cheek to say the 7 year old machine they loaned me was getting hrs put on while mine wasnt and they wouldnt be charging me for its loan

Well I’m sure if they had fixed your machine in the first instance the loan machine wouldn’t have been getting any hours put on it would it 🤦‍♂️ they are bloody idiots sometimes!!

Nothing except a full refund would be remotely acceptable. They've supplied you a machine that is not just unfit for purpose but potentially very dangerous too. I don't know the legalities of course but wouldnt be paying a penny further for that. I also think HSE should be made aware of this, a dealer knowingly allowing a new machine out in to use in that condition- surely there has to be merit in that? Perhaps at this stage it might be worse asking some proper legal advice....

Everyone seems to be saying the same as me but today i was made to feel like a little boy and that i was basically that one customer whos a pain! I did speak to citizens advice but that was a waste of time as when i explained it wasnt fit for purpose and possibly dangerous and could cause injury there reply was ' well your insured ain't you' im fed up of the machine I'm fed up of the dealer but can only wait and see how it is when it comes back and after that Im not sure

I feel for you. Shouldn't have to be putting up with all that s**t having paid good money for a new machine. Buy used and you take a gamble perhaps but new should be faultless/or problems sorted service for at least the warranty term IMO.

I would not be waiting for it to 'come back' ....
I'd be going to them if they say it's fixed and asking them to initially demo it working perfectly and when they fail, you give it a go ...
take someone 'knowledgeable' with you as witness.
When it doesn't perform as it should, if they're not prepared to sort to your level of acceptability, tell them you will be taking the matter further by due process as the machine has NEVER been fit for purpose and is downright dangerous. see what sort of enthusiasm that generates
