So, whats on everyone's to get list this year, plant wise ?

Personally a couple attachments for either the duck or mini, crusher bucket maybe and a sorter grab. I'd really like a dump trailer to tug behind the duck and f**k the DVSA. I see so many trailers being dragged by tractors or telehandlers no bother all the time not to mention the pikey wagons loaded skigh high.

So if anyone comes across an S40 grab, doesnt need rotate as its going under the tilty, same for S60 as well as a block grab give me a shout.

Time to chop in the Takeuchi and go bigger for me look for a decent 3 toner and either a micro with servos or a zero swing 1.5 for tighter jobs ! Grab wouldn’t go amiss either 🤣 other than that a new pair of wellies would go down a treat 🤣

Going to sort out the soil screen that needs a motor and conveyor belt. Always looking for a crusher bucket but always seem to find something different instead.

Will see what comes in work wise as the bnext major expense will be an Engcon for the 8tonner.

Used 3 tonner arriving to sit in between 8t and 1.5t - for those jobs where 8t is overkill and 1.5t is the other way and 3t swivel tip to go alongside straight tip.

Then if I recover from that it will be idig or similar.

What size machine is the s40 grab going on? That Rototilt selector would be a bit heavy under a tilty on anything under 5 tonnes imo.

Just realised that grab is S60 - quite a big lump tbh.
I’ve got what looks to be the same but with lighter timber grab shells on S40 which is perfect on my 6 tonner but too big/heavy for the 2.7 tonne Bobcat (it has done quite a bit of work with it on but it is not very stable...)

Plan to finish the crusher, refurb our screener, have the lorry overhauled with a Demount body system, and sort out a better pickup.

But I say that every year ffs.

Building work on my house should be starting in next few day’s for me so doubt I’ll have any money spare for toys. Wouldn’t mind a cheap-ish 1ton high tip dumper but haven’t found anything locally.
