Went to look at a 2004 JCB JS 160 that is for sale at an auction today, is the right size machine for me and would replace a JS 150 but posed a few questions below which some may have knowledge of
The dash is powering up but none of the gauges are registering, will it be as simple as new sender/check wiring or is it likely a fault with a printed circuit?
Engine throttle potentiometer doesn't work, is this an expensive fix or better to just get a manual cable set up?
It isn't piped for a breaker, what would the approx cost be to add an extra hydraulic service to it?
Couldn't see a name plate on it but assume it is an isuzu engine, were there any issues with them used for that model year?
If price is right and faults could be rectified would be perfect machine as it won't do more than 200 hrs a year , don't want to end up spending 10-12k then wish spent 18k or so on a better one that all works if that makes sense.
Any thoughts welcome, cheers
