Wash it off each time you use it during salt season or it’ll go blackJust in time...to help "assist" with tax bill.

I think pollution does that too- apparently trailers in Birmingham etc are much duller than ones in the middle of nowhere!Wash it off each time you use it during salt season or it’ll go black
I got my tipper in feb so was Jonny keen with hot pressure wash but still dulled down and front all stained.I think pollution does that too- apparently trailers in Birmingham etc are much duller than ones in the middle of nowhere!
can't see why not ... only a strong detergentI got my tipper in feb so was Jonny keen with hot pressure wash but still dulled down and front all stained.
can’t remember are you allowed or not to use tfr on them
Just don't use it too strong. A lot of people but cheap stuff then use a lot of it to get it to work which is far worse for paint finish etc than good quality stuff used in the right concentration. Make sure it's washed off wellcan't see why not ... only a strong detergent![]()
Yeah it's not ideal time of year to get one. I've found the longer you can leave them before cleaning them the better long term but obvs not ideal to do this time of year.I got my tipper in feb so was Jonny keen with hot pressure wash but still dulled down and front all stained.

Thats very commendable but I just dont know how anyone finds this time to wash trailers all the time. Mine gets a hose one a year if it's lucky! TBH my theory with trailers is buy and keep for 2 years then replace as they hold value so well. that way never have to spend money on light/tyres and brakes and dont loose too much in depreciation either?Got a couple of ifors,a 14 ft flat and a gx105.they get washed everytime they come home in the autumn and winter unless the roads are dry and salt free.may be a bit anal and a pain in the arse to do but that’s me.
nick...
I’d agree with you and it’s a pain in the arse at times but that’s me.digger allways washed too and never go out with a dirty machine.my 14 ft trailer is around 17 years old but looks about 2 and don’t get used much and the other is 3 years old and the same size it replaced was 15 years old when I sold that and only lost about £400 in the time I owned it.only ever had new tyres, brakes and bearings and cables and I never had a bulb replaced either.never looked at any other brand away from ifors either.only issue with them is the noise of suspension when emptyThats very commendable but I just dont know how anyone finds this time to wash trailers all the time.
