Did a 3mx5mx1.6m pit for rainwater harvest tanks today, in clay. 1.8t tracked dumper was perfect. A 5m shunt forwards for two piles for topsoil and subsoil, then the clay went out the gate next to us and tipped in three windrows along the stream. A slighty soft spot through the gateway would have been trashed with wheels, as it was you could barely tell. Short runs and slightly soft conditions made it the pefect machine for the job.

I've got some greedy boards on my new machine, adding 200mm to the overall height. This gives a level cubic capacity of 1m3, which is exactly payload at 1.8t/m3. With a roughly heaped load of clay it wasn't struggling.

Few pics from a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't look so shiny now.

How wide is the dumper doobin? It looks a handy bit of kit

Does look a handy bit of kit - a swivel tip would be the dogs for graveling up drains without having to shunt about.

They do one but it's 19k not 15k. I use it 50% of the time as a transporter for men and tools, so a box was more handy. It is 3 way tip though.

A shade narrower than a 2.7 digger I reckon.

i really miss my old iveco with a 3 way tip bed. so usefull.

The looks a great dumper. Didn't realise you had gone the full hog with a sit down one. £15k seems big value.
Now all you need is a cab and you will be living in luxury.
