1.5 tonne digger to France

New here so hello to everyone.

I'm looking to buy and ship a 1.5 tonne mini digger to France area code 11190 Aude. Any recommendations for supplier and haulage?

There are plenty of firms, usually the biggest issue is the requirement of a forklift or loading ramp

That said a customer from France sent a lorry in once and he had his own ramps real nice chap I will have a look for the detaila

IF you have any joy getting someone interested in selling and shipping single units at sensible money then please let us know from who ! I used to have a fair few brought down every year but transports costs have as they say "knocked the arse out of the job"

See with haulage everbody wants to know the exact details, delivery address, size , loading problems and time needed / ready. I find it so much faff sorting this for people and then they just say no to expensive and get their own.

Shipping single units isnt expensive? we have shipped things like Bobcat E10's to france with £200 before

U.k outbound is alot cheaper than inbound as everyone fighting for a backload
Same as containers to China you basically have to pay the cost of the transport to the port it's unbelievably cheap
I was loading containers with hay for China as they couldn't produce it to English quality for the price over there (for racehorses not livestock )

Transport that way certainly isnt dear. Full loads to Belguim curtain sider for circa £500

Indeed sendling low loaders is not the one.

didn't realise there were many containers going back that way ...... thought most of what arrived was one trip ... hence the huge quantities of one trip boxes available to buy

The ships are so buoyant that if they go unloaded they will capsize as the will be sat so high out the water therefore they just want anything to make it stable
This is why a lot of our rubbish is loaded into containers to be landfilled in China as the ships just need a load
I think the single use boxes must just be ones they can't find a load for

wouldn't clear a single bridge on the Mon & Brec Ross .... see it's got a hull around it .... can't imagine 'em being THAT water-tight

500£ to Belgium ..... FFS I got a price from RLongs in 2011 for Telford to Dept 56 in France @ 1450€ for a curtain sider.
Earlier this year I asked a company at Hebdon Bridge if they could quote transport on a 3T swivel tip they had for sale and they came back with
£1,100 on a curtainsider (unloading facilities needed)£1,870 on a low loader with ramps
