I'd use another adjective🤬
The whole green agenda isn't too do with saving the planet its about image and looking good. I don't disagree with global emissions needing cut and cleaner ways of us existing but why don't we look to do it properly rather than just one big bluff. We have near enough no steel industry left here amongst other pollutant industries, not because abroad could do it cheaper but because getting rid of it cuts uk emissions. The fact that its made elsewhere and shipped in actually mean that there will be higher emissions from it but that's ok cos we aren't making them here. Whole job stinks.

My local shell was 1.85 inc vat this week.. I’ve never had fuel cards but May look at one now I’m filling everything up at the white pump! Do you contact shell direct to get a shell fuel card then? No idea how they work!

My Shell card is through Fuel Card Services in Blackburn, but I believe you can go direct with Shell.
The same for them all, watch what terms they give you, watch out for charges, some have charges for under usage, annual card charges, charges/surcharge for filling up at non core sites.
I got most of my cards years ago, when I`d applied and got granted my O licence, and fuel card firms got your details off the application and where ringing up offering their cards, (how times have changed!).
I`ve stuck with them listed, as they have been OKish on prices and terms, even though most have been bought out or taken over in the past.
Also if you go the card route, get more than one supplier, so you know if they are having you over.

I had companies ring me constantly for years, I’d always tell them to sod off before they’d explain what they were about 🤣 spent £500 on white this week alone and that only filled 2 trucks and my digger 😢

They have been buying garages up, they bought 2 local to here, we where using them with UKF, and still can, just an extra option depending on price.
They also have some deal with welcome break motorway services, and taking the forecourts over.
Competition gets smaller

The fuel price roller coaster, going back up again,

Applegreen 142.41ppl ( up 3 and a bit pence 😲)
The rest all up just over half a pence
Esso 142.84ppl
Shell 142.9ppl
Texeco 143.42ppl
UKF 142.84ppl

Fuel companies bumping price to cover windfall tax? Crude spiked up yesterday, around time of announcement
