Mum’s hair spray, 1975, just after I’d been to see “Live and Let Die”. I had some explaining to do about why the brand new curtains weren’t quite in the same condition as when she’d hung them.hair lacquer is a pretty good flame thrower too, as is a can of carb cleaner..... no sticky bits though

found Josh's tater cannon a while back .... thought I'd slung it out ...... used to use butane in that .... would launch a spud a good 400 yards if the spud was a serious fitNot exactly flame thrower related but the tattie cannon worked best with purple ronnies BO basher, sadly no longer available (rip woolworths)
We tried all sorts and tbh always thought it ridiculous that the best thing was dirt cheap and aimed at kidsfound Josh's tater cannon a while back .... thought I'd slung it out ...... used to use butane in that .... would launch a spud a good 400 yards if the spud was a serious fit![]()
would've broken his ribsHad a mate one night wanted shot with tattie cannon in the chest from about 2 yards (it was heyday of Jackass). Said we'd shoot his car door first instead, soon changed his mind when it caved door in![]()
my personal favorite were/are oxy bombs ..... the lads in work were banned from setting off anything bigger than a crisp bag inside the workshop ..... frightened a few customers over the years with what looked like a bag of crisps sat on the bench, when a joker'd strike an arc beside itAnother minor planttalk thread diversion
In a good way.
Mates did a tumble drier with one, bin bag full had to let some out to get the bag into the drum thankfully. I'll have to find vid and sort out either uploading it or link.my personal favorite were/are oxy bombs ..... the lads in work were banned from setting off anything bigger than a crisp bag inside the workshop ..... frightened a few customers over the years with what looked like a bag of crisps sat on the bench, when a joker'd strike an arc beside it..... 2L coke bottles were a yard job, or pay for the windows

was out at Simon's (guy Mog had the urban artic off) one night to dinner and talk got around to oxy bombs, by some of his other 'guests'/mates .... started with a 2L coke bottle, which all were impressed with, progressed to a placcy gallon can a good distance from the house .. very impressed ... degenerated into a 25L hard blue plastic diesel can and as many extension leads as Simon could find to get it well away from the house .... he lives in the sticks .. bit like my place .. the neighbours for a couple of miles around were ringing to see if he was ok ... took boughs out of the tree it was sat under and he was picking up bits of blue plastic for weeks ..... biggest piece we found was the cap - attached to the lead, i'd used to detonate it ... it was SOME BANG!!Mates did a tumble drier with one, bin bag full had to let some out to get the bag into the drum thankfully.
