Duck Tyres what do you think?

Below are some photos of the tyres that were fitted to the liebherr 914 just under a year ago, all 8 were changed at the same time and within a couple of days it was obvious they were not right. out came the supplying company and then the manufacturer themselves, they have degraded to the point that they started going bang a couple of weeks ago and on the back of the duck not just the front, you can see from the photos that the inner tubes started to push through the casing. I think we might have a battle on our hands as the supplying company have said its your issue with the manufacturer and not us even though we recommended them, all 8 have deteriorated like this not just the ones on the steering axle

Whats everyones thoughts, and please don't ask who the manufacturer is

I think your issue would be with the supplier, the deal was made with them to supply tyres, any manufacturing issues would surely be up to them to take up with the manufacturer. If they value your custom surely they should try and sort it out rather than pass the buck.

Any manufacturer worth their salt should have taken them back in horror for intensive investigation if you ask me.

Other than that, are you having a good year? ;)

You’ve carried on using them Daz for nearly a year, so don’t think you’ve got much of a chance. What did the report say from the manufacturer??

what are your pressures like Daz .... they look to be behaving as though over-inflated  ... IIRC 7 or 7.5 bar is the recommended pressure for EM type tyres, carrying 2t/wheel

It looks like you've been bent over by the supplier. Name and shame!

Ollie the report so to speak was a very simple yeah they're faulty, was told to carry on using them to get the life out of them. In the compound at Solihull there is still the 8 that came off When Phil was up with Rob and yourself on the M1 and they are BKT's that are smooth but have not broken up like this

Well as long as you have it in writing to continue using them to get the life out of them, I can’t see a problem?
