KUBOTA KX36 IMOBILISER

Hi I'm new to the forum I've got a 12 year old kubota kx36. 6 which I've had from new. My ex wife decided to take the keys including the red key. Kubota want £1000 to reprogram which at the moment I can't afford. I have managed to get it started by putting 12v on the fuel solenoid and also the blade goes up nd down. I presume the IMOBILISER also sends a signal to the hydraulics but I can find where that could be any help appreciated thank you

Can't be that hard- I'd start by poking around in the circuit that locks out the hydraulics when you lift the side console.

Think that was Local Diggers. Not sure what happened to him, but I know I've done two recent last minute jobs where people have called me after he's had to cancel last minute. He was well shot of the last one though!

I turn up, and there's a gang of Eastern Europeans beavering away with basic hand tools (clearly bought from the builders merchant that morning), overseen by a surly man mountain of a Polac. I'd agreed £200 on the phone with him, he said it would take about two hours and I was kicking around the yard otherwise so why not? I used the ripper to loosen up the cracked sunken concrete back to where he said he wanted to stop, then stockpiled it neatly with the grab. This was an eye opener for them, they were clearly used to people chasing lumps around with a bucket . I called the head honcho over, and said to him, "if you wanna get your blokes to trim those edges square with the stihl saw, I'll grab them too". "No;" he says. "We leave. Is stronger." I wasn't gonna argue, he was all of fourteen stone, and muscle too. "I want you dig out little bit. I have type 1 coming". Ah, ok. Sounds a little less cowboy. I start scraping down to a sensible level. "No. Less". I scrape off a token two inches- bearing in mind we're on soft Selsey sand here. "Is good. I have two bags type 1 coming" I'm biting my tongue so hard here that I worry it'll start bleeding. No way in hell will two bags cover half of it- even though I don't see a whacker plate on site. I dare not ask how much concrete they have booked- all I know is that it's due in an hour and I want to be the other side of Chichester before the s**t hits the fan

Luckily he didn't kick up about paying me £200 for an hours work- we'd shaken on it when I arrived., and after all he had booked a man and machine in for a day at more than that. I don't even feel sorry for the householders- they had clearly shopped on price, and thought they were getting a good deal.

Local diggers is still around on FB, i think i read he lost interest after Trax passed. Plus he had reservations about a new forum. Shame not to see him about.

I am not sure its a good idea publicly putting how to bypass this system... ( i dont know how btw) but if somebody does.. I am pretty certain its pretty complicated

The troublle is I don't have a circuit diagram if I had that I could probably work it out I've tried all the relays under the seat by applying 12v but nothing and can't get a diagram for love nor money. I'm in Blackwood south wales. Thanks

Hi I've the same problem with my KX16-4 my operator list my key. I bought it second hand 3 years ago Kubota, want £1000 to reprogram.
Dis you get you machine started? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Well if you can't run it you don't need an operator ... so put the money saved toward Kubota's bill, get it sorted with some new reprogrammed keys and make sure you never let the master out of your possession ... sorted ... then find an operator who understands that losing a key is a loss of job ... might make your new guy more careful

Or buy a JCB, you just buy spares off ebay and they work in any digger

I am told you can code them out but keys are a pain

Lift the floor plate, on the chassis front right hand corner of the machine is a metal box, after cutting off the security bolts you can access the pilot block which supplied by the immobiliser, run switched live to the solenoids, it should all work fine.

plenty of other ways to secure it though Ross ... depends how enthused you are about doing it .. ultimately if the bas**rds want it you gotta sleep in it to keep it

Still not an easy task, have had to drag a few back from site in the past with lost keys in the past.
