Its no criticism whatsoever but I did wonder what your setup was ....seems like you have lots of wagons but is 5t your biggest machine or was it only one available ?

They’re from your way near slack hill way renolds sydnope only work for power lads got 5 x4cx pole masters must have been a foreigner
Pretty dubious on legality only doing power line work running on red and as agri

The 16 ton will be coming for the 1000m of watermain in same ground, looking at 18” buckets

Got 2x 5t ,1x 18t , and 3x wheel diggers
Did think about getting it dragged down here but would have been a lot of effort for 2 days work and seeing as the entrance is through a pub carpark would have to run it on boards in and out then replace with 5t to do the footings after bulk removed
Was doing 14 X 15t loads a day with the 5 ton

I feel your pain! Pretty similar scenario everytime I break ground too. But digging rocks like that out fills me excitement- I get paid by the meter for my stone walling and the meters soon go up with rocks like that rocks themselves are worth good money

Ahh right, didn’t know it was theirs, yes they’re based at Sydnope. Used to see the kit here and there, maybe moved to power stuff away from general hire.

3/4 an hour turnaround both running together just enough time to knock up a couple round before there return

Done a fair few electric connections for UKPowerNetworks now, but I'd be bollocks if I came across big boulders like that

Deffo a market- I know someone who sells granite of that sort of size- inundated with requests. Everything from farm walls to posh landscaping by 2nd homeowners etc. Transporting and delivering them is time consuming though
