They balance it out well. It’s not about max lift- I have a multione for that. But it now turns easier empty but still isn’t too back heavy unless you are careless with nothing in the bucket. So that suggests (and looking at the weight distribution too) that they are front heavy from the factory.
With those kind of weights you can easily add or remove depending upon the job in hand and the operator weight.

All joking aside I drove another 216 yesterday , poverty spec without a cab but none the less better than shovel but only just luckily the cat will be back on site on Monday and the 216 can be parked out of view

Ok saw this on the street yesterday. Think Doobin said 216 had puny rams. Well if that's the case this makes the 216 look like a D6. Absolutely pathetic rams- like something they'd let toddlers use at diggerland.
