I'll be in same boat at some point this year, the glass half full way of looking at it for me is while the shed may cost more it'll be better than another back end maintaining machinery outside in the rain and cold.

Re bar for a job im on now will be 27k. Seems like the most expensive time to be doing anything....

I bought 220 sheets in October was £138 then

I'll be in same boat at some point this year, the glass half full way of looking at it for me is while the shed may cost more it'll be better than another back end maintaining machinery outside in the rain and cold.

I had 10 years outside in the shite and it's a great feeling when you get your shed sorted

To be fair I've got a small shed but there's not much room (full ) and it's not high enough to get diggers in. Luckily diggers are only to service (touch wood) but it'll be nice to be able to use the worst of the bad weather at winter to make sure stuffs right for the better half of the year.

Don't think it's just yet tho...these travel bans etc just add funds to Joe public's purse...theres a lot of cash sat in bank accounts atm.

Yeah and there's no big stock of anything sat. Some folk do reckon supply chain isn't as bad as they make out more that nobody wants to end up with a yard full of gear they've overpaid for which i can appreciate. All of which means even a bit of a slow up won't help prices much if at all. I know it might sound daft but if you really think about the cost some materials have been for a long time you'd wonder if there had ever been a profit in it. A lot of these prices are here to stay.

When you put it that way, 15 years ago I was paying £11for type1 now it’s £15ish, either they used to make plenty on it at £11 or they are just breaking even at £15…. Who knows but either way prices are here to stay!

You just can’t buy new anything though! I’m sure you have gained a whole addition of folk to your customer base the last year? I’ve 3 new things on order all of which I’ve no real idea when they are coming!
