It's as gimicky as it looks
The Stihl version runs proper pico chainsaw chain
Or the Milwaukee M12 recipe saw is the same sizes with cheaper blades

Been surprised how sharp that Pico micro on my 161t stays until it ate a few timberlocks on a green oak job.

Yeah I just saw the Prazi attachment, will have to look into it more as already I have an old 110v Skill Saw that I would think it's designed around.

Beauty of the festool is it fits in the guiderail system.
Tbf a monster circular saw is quicker and less waste but again not cheap.

used to have a big circular - originally a lead saw with a IIRC 30" TCT blade .. direct onto a 20HP motor .... would take about 15 min.s to run down .... was unstoppable and'd rip sleepers as fast as you could feed 'em through ... used it for lopping up sleepers for crane cribbing ....... was some saw, but the curf was 8mil
