It’s still working a treat .ive burst a few hoses going to the head but I think that’s down to a badly located lifting eye that caches on them . New garage going in at home so been busy getting it built . Trusses just ordered so will get pics shortly to post up. Have all the original amigos made the switch ? First impressions of the site look great ! Have you added anything to your fleet ? I bet the old Jacob doesn’t do much now a ducks on site !
well you know what they say about workmen and tools Vin
look forward to seeing some pix ... make sure the duck's in 'em
quite a few
'migrated' but several who haven't - yet anyway
.... I still keep my thread updated there and it continues to average over a thousand views a day
much to my amazement
(if you wanna see anything Druid related, pre Aug. '18, yer know where it is )
Ross has done a great job here, as you say and does go to show that 'forums' aren't quite dead in the water - yet
.....
imagine what he could've done with the CEF
..... but that's a.n.other story
Not added anything to ''the fleet'' -- yet -- but do want a smaller tracked machine for the finnicky, tighter bits and bobs and to get about on the softer stuff .. have me eye on a few candidates
.... and you're right about ol' Jakie ..... the 'Drema does tend to be the '
go to' weapon of choice, but he did some sterling work down in the field last year, leveling out all that got tipped down there
....
duck'd have been a lot quicker, but ..... getting in/out of there'd be
'interesting/exciting' and'd really need a pilot with more experience, than I,
to actually determine if it was do-able/feasible, in the first place, or a suicide mission
.
had been considering outing him, but having seen what some of 'em are making in the collectable type world, he ain't eating or drinking and certainly not dropping in value, so not overly bothered whether he goes or stays, as he's in very decent nick and still does a day when needed
Might even get some TLC, as and when I have time .... Black cab with a tilty'd be summat to cause a stir
