One thing nobody's mentioned about a track conversion on an avant type machine is the fact that you can put wheels back on if job/weather suits. Realistically if you needed tracks on full time its there's probably a better suited machine but as a machine for all year round use probably a very good if expensive option to have.

thought he bought a frame steer loading shovel (proper size one ;)) a while ago :unsure:

Thanks, its not off ebay, this one is in much nicer condition than that one, 2005 year with just over 1000hrs and its in very tidy condition for its age. For 1/4 of the cost of a new 700 series, I'm hoping it will do 80% of what I really want one to do for me. And the attachments I got with it will cross over to a newer one anyway so will put it to work and prove the concept so to speak.
And start saving towards that lovely looking 800 series......
