Get a cheap 3 phase generator and a suitable sized 3 phase electric motor with a cheap Variable Frequency Drive. Use the 3 phase motor to drive the crusher and control it with the VFD.

Easy and simple solution with the benefit of a generator when not crushing. I'm assuming it's a jaw crusher, in which case if you're crushing concrete and bricks and not hard rock, the crusher doesn't need a lot of power to drive it. You can make do with a smaller generator and let the VFD handle high startup loads. Even better if you've got nearby 3 phase power in which case you'll save on fuel and wear & tear. It's so simple I've done it myself, crushing bricks and concrete from small demolition jobs
with an 8 pot RR turbo motor .... totally complete and running sweet ..... with a fully logged history .. stand by unit ... it's a bit of a lump
I always think this about the remote controll demo machines, sod standing next to a hammer/muncher all day in the dust and crap!Not fussed on stand up controls with no cab operating the hiab
With the amount of nasty dust generated by crusher I'd want any internal combustion engine to be as far away from the crusher as possible. Being aircooled means plenty of dust around the intimate engine bits which can set like concrete

Wise operators of those things stand up wind. Also have seen guys sitting in a chair with the controls on their laps.
