Anyone else utterly pissed off with the whole covid shite now? Mood from every single person I've met this week has been exactly the same;..wtf let's just crack on. It's old news ...I almost dare the government to bring out a lockdown...it would be comical the folk that heed it this time I reckon.. good luck been a copper up here

Since I was six months old, I've had a 'vaccine book', that would have needed to be presented to to a bunch of countries I've never visited.
There are still countries you can not visit without a vaccine certificate for Yellow Fever
Countries with risk of yellow fever transmission and countries requiring yellow fever vaccination (May 2021)
This list includes only countries or areas where WHO has determined there is a risk of yellow fever transmission and/or where there are country requirements for travellers.
as above, "certificate" / "passport" / etc. same thing, different name.

The actual vaccine passport isn't a new one or a issue as you say. Job I'm looking at has always "Required" staff to get innoculated against a hoard of things, flu being one of them as there is a major risk of carrying germs to the destination that will seriously hamper those already there.... It's no surprise they want the coof coof shot as well.
Issue is HOW the passport is intended to be used. A bit of paper you have full control over is one thing, but as we have seen repeated the data stored by the government/NHS etc on its citizens can often be misused in the eyes of the people it affects.
If we had talked about vaccine passports solely for foreign travel there would not be the hoo ha, it's the domestic issue that is where it cuts and causes problems.

When you wish to travel respect local tradition and obey the law. So skiing for me in Austria becomes a no go if they implement compulsory vaccines.
Domestic use is a major restriction. If they implement the current proposal of a test or vaccine it is still pointless when the vaccine takers can still be carrying the disease. If you are going to make law don’t make it pointless!!

Tony Blair was and I imagine still is a big fan. The left like untimate control over their slaves. Easy to see it starting off as covid control or access to social security, etc, but the way things are going at present a quick mandatory upgrade and we are like China and they can starve you to death. "we are pursuing other options"......That idea leapt into my mind too, seems logical for someone thinking about doing the timber harvesting thing
Bottom line is I need a fkn break from the mundane/my stuff/people wanting to be excited about there house build.... 2020 saw us put this in which will be tricky to top if I'm honest. Forestry is one option but likely to wear thin fast as I'm close enough to easily wind up doing it two days a week and earning good money the other 3.... I've said I will go en tour with the long reach next year, which is great fun and I love BUT not all that challenging. Antarctica is the nuclear option really, but has the most appeal. It's a place I do wish to visit and the only way I can do that in any meaningful way is by working..... kinda keen.
