Keep hearing about the world financial crisis and the need to tighten our belts.

Here are a few ships.
Yellow are general cargo ships
Orange are tankers
Blue are work boats
Green are passenger vessels
Red are emergency service and law enforcement
Pink are yachts

That pink strip is thousands of yachts heading in the same direction having left Europe and on the way to the Caribbean for Christmas 🎄

It is only vessels over 300 tonnes that have to use AIS (automatic identification system) and get the tracking arrow. I think of a sunseeker as being a million yacht but only the very biggest got that big.

There will certainly be a lot of smaller vessels using it as choice but also a lot running on just radar reflectors.

Our old friend from the Isle of Man at 1300 tonnes would comfortable in the company of many of the Yachts 😁

When I read that (insert well known politician/prominent businessman) had a quiet break aboard their Yacht in Falmouth I don't see a pretty little schooner in Cornwall, I see 1500 tonnes of floating Palace in Falmouth Bermuda
